I got a great insight this morning reading the blog of Jason Goldberg,
founder & CEO at Fab. His post was titled Skate where the puck is going, not where it’s been. The basic idea here is that you shouldn’t worry about people copying your ideas because those were your old ideas, and you should be working on new ones anyway. Goldberg says:
I take a bit of delight in people spending their time copying our previous thoughts. It just puts them that much behind our future.
